Learn rehabilitative techniques for correction of specific muscular imbalances and posture deviations, pain control, relief of tension, and stress management. Understand Applied Kinesiology concepts including techniques of muscle testing, acupressure and massage for facilitation of muscle control.

COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon completion of the workshop you will have acquired fundamental knowledge of Applied Kinesiology theory and techniques. Be aware of the function and be able to test 14 major postural muscles and evaluate their responses. Be able to readily observe minor deviations due to muscle strain or imbalance, and beware of potential related complications. Be able to educate patients and family members in basic muscle toning exercises and stress relief to assist and follow up home care.


  • Acupuncture Meridian tracing by hand;
  • Specific acupressure points;
  • Massage of reflex stimulation points;
  • Light touch a specific vascular points;
  • Specific muscle origin/insertion points.
  • Nutritional awareness and postural effects of food allergies;
  • Cross crawl cerebellar coordination exercise;
  • The effect of emotional stress on body balance and muscle response.
